"Ritual Summon! [Mirror Knight Summoner]!"

As Dartz searched a card from his Deck and inserted it into his Duel Disk's Spell & Trap Zone, a blue crystal pillar appeared next to [Orichalcos Shunoros] in his Spell/Trap Zone, revealing its astonishing stats.

[Mirror Knight Summoner] [Level 6/LIGHT]

[Spellcaster Type/Ritual/Effect]

[0/0 -> 500/0]

0 ATK/0 DEF! Is there anything more terrifying than these ATK/DEF stats in the World? No!

Joey also noticed that Dartz wasn't performing the usual 3-for-1 Ritual Summon, but a 2-for-1 Ritual Summon, saving one card's resources. Rounding up, that was card advantage: "He actually performed a Ritual Summon from the Deck, that's too much!"

What he didn't know was that compared to the summoning, the [Mirror Knight Summoner] Ritual Monster itself was the truly excessive existence.

The crystal pillar shimmered under the emerald radiance of the [Seal of Orichalcos] on the Ground. As it rotated, it successively reflected the images of Yugi, Joey, Kaiba, and [True Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon]. The next instant, like an illusion, four fully armed knight-form monsters suddenly appeared on Dartz's Front Row?

[Mirror Knight Token] [Level 1/LIGHT]

[Warrior Type/Token]

[0/0 -> 500/0]

Covered head-to-toe in mirror armor, holding a long sword as shiny as a mirror, and a shield that was practically a mirror, their entire equipment looked like extremely fragile mirror products. It was no wonder the ATK/DEF of these suddenly appearing tokens were so low.

"When [Mirror Knight Summoner] is Special Summoned successfully, Special Summon as many [Mirror Knight Token]s as possible to my Field in Attack Position, and when [Mirror Knight Token]s are Special Summoned successfully, place one 'Mirror Shield Counter' on each of those tokens."

Dartz glanced at the two cards remaining in his hand, but didn't continue his field setup. Instead, he lowered his arm and, under the unexpected gaze of Yugi and the others, ordered: "Now, enter the Battle Phase! I will use [Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands] to attack [True Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon]!"

[Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands] [ATK 1400 -> 1900]

Unlike the previous [Giant Spirit of Orichalcos] which could revive from the Graveyard an infinite number of times after being destroyed and continuously increase ATK, Kaiba knew that [Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands] only had one effect when summoned, as he had used it before.

But Dartz was now using [Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands] to launch a suicidal attack on [True Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon]. Without the cover of [Giant Spirit of Orichalcos]'s indestructibility effect, even the slow-witted Joey sensed Dartz's goal.

He seemed to be intentionally letting himself continuously take damage, and having it absorbed by [Orichalcos Shunoros]!?

However, Kaiba had no means to stop Dartz's attack, and one of the two cards Joey had set, [Gravity Bind], which could interfere with attacks, had already been used in the previous turn.

The bronze-colored [Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands], with the [Seal of Orichalcos] emblem glowing on its forehead, charged suicidally towards [True Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon]. It was easily turned to ash by the White Dragon's dragon breath, and the overflowing battle damage was subsequently absorbed by [Orichalcos Shunoros].

[Dartz: 10100 -> 10100 LP]

[Orichalcos Shunoros] [Absorbed 4700 -> 7300]

"It absorbed battle damage again..." Kaiba narrowed his eyes, looking at [Orichalcos Shunoros] in Dartz's Spell/Trap Zone. "A bad feeling. Does that monster have other hidden abilities?"

"Although I don't know why Dartz is making that monster continuously absorb damage, we have to stop him." Yugi also said, focusing on that [Orichalcos Shunoros].

Seeing that both Yugi and Kaiba had noticed the difference in [Orichalcos Shunoros], Dartz chuckled lightly: "Have you finally noticed? But it's already a little late. [Orichalcos Shunoros] has already stored quite a lot of pain waiting to be released, and you no longer have any monsters that can be used to destroy [Orichalcos Shunoros]."

"Hmph, are you blind, Dartz? Duel Monsters isn't a game where you don't need sight." Kaiba smirked. "Didn't you see my magnificent, dignified, perfect [True Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon]? Your weak monsters on the Field fundamentally can't damage it!"

"Heh heh, that's not necessarily true."

Dartz sneered and waved his hand again: "I should have said before, humanity's greatest weakness is humanity itself, right? For development, humans are the animal that kills the most other species in the World, but the ones who kill the most humans are precisely humans."

"Use [Mirror Knight Token] to attack [True Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon]!" Facing Kaiba's confused gaze, Dartz then said, "When [Mirror Knight Token] battles a monster, during the Damage Step only, its ATK is increased to match the ATK of the battle target monster!"

"Nani!?"

Kaiba looked in surprise at the [Mirror Knight Token] on Dartz's Field. Only to see one of the knights, upon receiving Dartz's order, slightly adjusted the mirror shield in its hand, causing the image of [True Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon] to appear in the mirror. Raising the long sword in its hand, that monster resolutely charged towards [True Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon]!

"Blue-Eyes!"

Kaiba only had time to call out once and couldn't do anything. He just saw the [Mirror Knight Token], facing [True Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon]'s counter dragon breath, swing its long sword at it. The instant the sword touched the dragon scale, it triggered an energy surge and an explosion. [True Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon]'s figure was lost from Kaiba's line of sight.

But just as Kaiba thought his [True Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon] had been destroyed by Dartz's [Mirror Knight Token], [True Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon]'s loud dragon roar actually rang out from within the smoke.

"ROAR!" X3

With a flap of its wings, the smoke was dispelled by the White Dragon, revealing the unharmed [True Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon], as well as a set card in the Spell/Trap Zone that had been activated at some point. Kaiba couldn't help but turn his head to look at Joey.

"Heh heh, the Trap Card [Attack Nullification] can only be activated during the Battle Phase. It allows you to select one monster on the Field that cannot be destroyed by battle or effect during this Battle Phase. What's all that talk about humanity's greatest weakness being humanity itself? Who understands that stuff?" Joey smiled proudly. "You keep underestimating Lord Joey. Now you know how amazing Yours Truly is, Dartz?"

And noticing that Kaiba was looking at him, Joey became even more arrogant: "Hmph hmph, how about that, Kaiba? In the end, you high-and-mighty guy actually has to rely on me, huhuhu, go ahead and thank me."

"Hmph, just a mere Commoner, getting carried away just because you finally did something useful." Kaiba said, annoyed. While still looking down on Joey verbally, he silently remembered Joey's kindness in saving his [Blue-Eyes] in his heart.

"I see, because of [Attack Nullification]'s effect, [True Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon] became unable to be destroyed." Dartz smiled helplessly. "What a pity."

"More importantly, Dartz!" Yugi noticed that the [Mirror Knight Token] that had just attacked had returned to Dartz's Field. He frowned, pointed at it, and said, "[Mirror Knight Token]'s ATK should have increased to match [True Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon]'s 4500 points, right?"

"[True Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon] wasn't destroyed because of [Attack Nullification]'s effect, but why is your [Mirror Knight Token] still on the Field!"
