Regieleki hopped from side to side. It hadn't lost its ability to battle yet, but it had taken a heavy blow. *"So it's a glass cannon,"* Ash thought. *"Either I defeat the opponent instantly, or I'm defeated myself."* This was his first time coordinating with the electric golem in battle.
"Meowth, use Shadow Ball!"
Meanwhile, Tyson, having landed a successful hit, launched another attack.
Meowth’s claws tensed, once again forming a dark purple sphere of energy.
Then, instead of attacking directly, it raised the sphere high above its head and slammed it forcefully into the ground before it.

The collision of the Shadow Ball with the ground erupted into a wave of purplish-black energy that surged outwards in all directions.
Meowth's Shadow Ball had the feel of a Zoroark using Dark Burst.
Taking advantage of the rising smokescreen, Meowth used Dig again, completely concealing itself beneath the earth.

These currents were extremely fine, like innumerable yellow threads.
The area of effect expanded rapidly. With Regieleki as the apex, the countless descending currents formed a massive, cone-shaped cage, completely ensnaring everything within it.
This left Meowth, who had never seen this move before, with no time to dodge. It was struck head-on by the Thunder Cage.
"Meoooww...!!"
The electric current sizzled on contact, and the intense pain wracking its body made Meowth let out a miserable cry. "Meowth, break free, quickly!"

The disturbance immediately drew disapproving looks from many of the surrounding tourists.

But with the three Grunts acting like gangsters, flanked by three fierce-looking Poochyena, no one dared to step forward.
