Chapter 113
Chapter 113: Ma Hongjun's Sleazy Entrance
Aotian's door wasn't locked. Xiao Wu knocked gently, then pushed the door open and walked in.
The academy rules stated that male students were not allowed to harass female students, but they didn't say that female students couldn't harass male students. Xiao Wu wasn't about to bother with such details.
Aotian was also in the bathroom; the sound of rushing water could be heard as he washed himself.
"He's bathing again. He must have been bullying Sister Na'er until dawn. What a scoundrel!" Xiao Wu's face turned red as she scoffed softly.
She had lived in the Star Dou Great Forest for so many years and had occasionally seen some soul beasts in heat, but she had never seen any last for so long.
The more she thought about it, the redder her face became. She silently cursed herself for being a coward, for not staying last night. Now, she still had no idea how that sort of thing even happened.
Just as her mind was wandering, Aotian walked out wearing a large, white bathrobe.
"What are you doing here?" Aotian glanced at Xiao Wu, noticing the girl's flushed cheeks.
Xiao Wu took out Gu Yuena's quilt, tossed it onto a nearby sofa, and said, "Look what you've done. You got Sister Na'er's quilt like this. You have to wash it for her."
Aotian's expression suddenly turned a little wicked. He smiled. "Let me make something clear. I didn't do this. Your Sister Na'er did."
"How is that possible? Why would Sister Na'er get her own quilt wet?" Xiao Wu was clearly unconvinced.
"You must not want to wash her quilt, so you're making up an excuse to trick me."
Aotian said meaningfully, "You don't understand now, but you will in the future."
"I don't care who did it. This is Sister Na'er's quilt. You're her man, shouldn't you help her wash it?"
"I should," Aotian nodded.
He pointed a finger at the quilt on the sofa from a distance. Then, as his finger moved upward, the quilt floated up with it.
Immediately, spiritual energy from the surroundings gathered madly, converging on the quilt. It became so dense that it turned into a visible mist, washing the fabric.
Xiao Wu watched this scene in amazement and couldn't help but ask, "This is how you wash a quilt?"
"Washing a quilt with spiritual energy. Never seen that before, have you?" Aotian chuckled.
Xiao Wu shook her head.
A few minutes later, the spiritual energy dispersed. The clean, soft quilt automatically folded itself in mid-air, then descended toward Xiao Wu.
Xiao Wu reached out to catch it and asked, "Is that all?"
"It's done. You can take it back to her. From now on, I'll make sure to clean up before I leave."
"He's already thinking about 'from now on'," Xiao Wu muttered.
"Want to get breakfast together in a bit?" she asked.
Aotian waved his hand. "You guys go ahead. I need to study Zhu Zhuqing's cultivation method."
"Aotian, thank you for going to so much trouble." Xiao Wu was suddenly touched that Aotian was taking her request so seriously.
"Then aren't you going to give me a little encouragement?" Aotian smiled and offered his cheek, tapping it a few times with his finger.
Xiao Wu blushed and took a few steps forward, standing on her tiptoes...
Aotian quickly turned his head, and the cheek he had offered Xiao Wu was instantly replaced by his face.
Xiao Wu let out a shriek and bolted from the room, clutching the quilt.
"I'm going to tell Sister Na'er that you bullied me again!" Her voice drifted back as the sound of her footsteps quickly faded.
Aotian touched his lips and shook his head with a smile. Xiao Wu's first kiss... the taste was pretty good, it seemed.
He glanced at the room next door. Oscar was still fast asleep. Tang San was currently at the site of his battle with Zhao Wuji, gathering his hidden weapons. Dai Mubai was nowhere to be seen, and the last one, Ma Hongjun, still hadn't returned.
Aotian lay down on the sofa and began to deduce Zhu Zhuqing's cultivation method in his mind.
When Xiao Wu returned with Gu Yuena's quilt, Gu Yuena had already finished her bath and come out.
Gu Yuena was as beautiful as ever, and she seemed to possess an additional, captivating charm.
"Sister Na'er, your quilt." Xiao Wu obediently placed the neatly folded quilt on Gu Yuena's bed.
Gu Yuena grabbed Xiao Wu's ear and said fiercely, "You little brat, who did you say wet the bed?"
Xiao Wu immediately cried out in pain. "Aotian just said you did this yourself! It ended up like this, so if it's not wetting the bed, what else could it be?"
"You little brat, you're asking for it." Gu Yuena, both ashamed and furious, spanked Xiao Wu's bottom.
"What are you two doing?" Ning Rongrong's voice suddenly rang out. She appeared at the doorway, looking curiously at Gu Yuena and Xiao Wu.
She had slept in and gotten up a little late.
"Nothing, nothing," Xiao Wu said hastily.
Ning Rongrong said, "I'm a little hungry. Let's go find something to eat."
Xiao Wu rubbed her stomach. "I'm a little hungry too. Let's wait for Zhuqing, and we can all go together."
Before long, Zhu Zhuqing had finished washing up, and the four girls headed out the door.
Xiao Wu pointed to a plume of cooking smoke rising in the distance. "The cafeteria must be over there. Let's go."
The other three agreed that Xiao Wu was right, and they all walked toward the rising smoke.
There was no clear dividing line between Shrek Academy and the area where the villagers lived. Without realizing it, the four of them had already walked out of Shrek Academy's grounds and into the residential side of the village.
The four dazzling and radiant girls walked in the morning sun. Gu Yuena with her long, flowing hair; Xiao Wu, lively and cute; Zhu Zhuqing with her cool, aloof temperament; and Ning Rongrong, gentle and pleasant. Each was beautiful in her own unique way, forming a stunning scene together.
Just then, the sound of an argument reached their ears. After rounding a wooden house, a young boy and girl appeared in their line of sight.
The boy looked to be about the same age as Xiao Wu and the others, around twelve years old. He had a very fleshy face and an equally plump figure. There was a mustache on his upper lip, and his entire being seemed to exude a sleazy aura.
The girl opposite him looked a bit older, around fourteen or fifteen. She was dressed very plainly, in the attire of a farmer's daughter, and was likely from this village.
The girl's voice was somewhat pleading. "Ma Hongjun, I'm begging you, please let me go. We're really not a good match. Please find another girl."
Ma Hongjun gripped the girl's hand tightly, preventing her from leaving, and demanded angrily, "Cuihua, why are you leaving me? Haven't I been good enough to you?"
The girl struggled to break free from Ma Hongjun's grasp but failed. She begged, "I really can't stand you anymore. Let's break up."
"We've only been together for a month, and you're already talking about breaking up? You're playing with my feelings," Ma Hongjun said angrily. "Besides, who would want you after we break up? If your future husband finds out you're damaged goods, he'll probably despise you."
The girl's face turned pale with fear.
Seeing the girl begin to hesitate, Ma Hongjun revealed a smile. "Don't worry. I'll make you happy if you're with me."
He released the girl's hand and tried to embrace her.
The girl's expression suddenly became resolute. She dodged Ma Hongjun's bear hug and said, "To be happy, you have to be alive to enjoy it. Let's not see each other again."
After speaking, she turned to leave.
Ma Hongjun's eyes were sharp and his hands were fast; he grabbed her hand again and snarled, "Fine, you want to break up? Then do it with me one more time. Otherwise, it's off the table!"
The girl's voice was already laced with sobs. "Are you even human?! Let me go, please. I don't want to anymore."
Xiao Wu, who despised evil with a passion, finally couldn't watch any longer.
