Intense firepower covered Carol and the dark red orb behind her! She floated in mid-air, waves of blue light emanating from her entire body, blocking the laser cannon fire shooting towards her. She frowned, looking at the dark red giant 'egg', and cast a look of doubt towards Clark Kent.
Clark Kent crossed his arms over his chest, and the red heat ray continuously shot out from Clark Kent's eyes, cutting through the protective shields of the alien warships around them.
One after another, alien warships were directly "seen" exploded by his eyes, turning into sparks in the pitch black Night Sky.
Facing Carol's doubtful gaze, Clark Kent gently shook his head at her, indicating that he also had no way.
Carol took a deep breath, raised her hands high. Under Clark Kent's surprised gaze, a wave of flame-like energy surged around her. The next second, she clenched her fists and charged towards the dark red orb at full speed.

Steve Rogers stood in front of the porthole, simultaneously directing the Sanctuary II to engage in shelling with the alien warships and talking with Clark Kent via the communicator.
The Sanctuary II truly lived up to its name as the Black Order's command flagship. The specially customized warship was not only nearly ten thousand meters long but its energy shield was also nearly three times thicker than other warships.
Furthermore, the surrounding warships were wary because they held hostages, and were hesitant to use their truly high-force main cannons. Coupled with the limited space around them, even though Thanos's side had over a million warships, only a few thousand were actually in direct contact with them.
