Chapter 836: The Raging Fifth Host
One of the Three Great Powers of the Multiverse, starting at Level Eight! And it was the Faerie Force, with no discernible upper limit to its potential!
If news of this got out, there's no telling how many crazed gods it would attract. Countless gods would be willing to risk their lives to pursue the Faerie Force.
A massive hand spread open, carrying a terrifying power capable of destroying countless universes. It was unleashed without restraint in the vast void at the edge of the multiverse, shaking it to its core. The unseen world blocking Tony's path was violently revealed under the impact of this powerful force.
This was a section of space-time that had been cut off and partitioned, a cage specifically created by the Celestials' Fifth Host to seal away the Faerie Force.
"Bumblebee is inside, and his Spark has been almost completely devoured."
Tony frowned, sensing the countless active sparks within the Allspark. One of them had become incredibly faint, as if a gust of wind could extinguish it. This was despite Tony's efforts to transmit the aura of a Singular God to attract the Faerie Force's attention.
The Faerie Force was clearly ravenous. Having been imprisoned for who knows how many years without anything to eat, Bumblebee was like a lamb falling into a pack of wolves the moment he entered.
Tony extended a finger. Though it seemed to be a great distance away, the moment his finger stretched out, it touched the world. Layers upon layers of terrifying energy shackles and programs involving complex logical calculations were met with Tony's most direct attack.
He thrust his finger forward forcefully, plunging the entire world into great turmoil. Terrible seals, intertwined with the world itself, were revealed. They frantically resisted Tony's power, following the complex procedures set by the Fifth Host.
Bang!
A breach was pierced through.
Whoosh!
The corner of Tony's mouth curled into what seemed to be a mocking grin. His figure vanished, and he entered the unknown world.
As far as the eye could see, there was an endless, swirling miasma. It surged forward, wave after wave, seemingly full of interest and desire for the intruder, Tony. It expressed even greater madness toward the breach he had opened.
"The Faerie Force... is truly starving," Tony mused, watching the restlessly stirring miasmic power around him. Chaotic thoughts drifted over, filled with a primitive desire to devour.
The power of the Singular God brutally pierced through this place, directly tearing the world apart to reach Bumblebee, guiding him to Tony's side.
The Faerie Force descended into madness. It pounced ferociously, surrounding the power of the Singular God that Tony had projected, scrambling to devour it.
With every bit it devoured, the Faerie Force grew a little stronger. The conversion rate was terrifyingly high, and the speed of its amplification was simply outrageous, with immediate effects.
Watching the Faerie Force, which had fallen into such a frenzy that it couldn't resist attacking him directly, Tony understood the Celestials' worries.
Even Tony, a Singular God, held no obvious deterrent power before the Faerie Force; he was just another source of food.
Its growth rate was too fast. It grew stronger by the exact amount it consumed—it simply defied all logic.
"The Fifth Host was right to seal this thing. If it were given time, it would truly devour everything in existence. By then, not even the Celestials would be able to contain it..."
When dealing with the Faerie Force, the earlier and faster, the better.
As for controlling the Faerie Force... it was clear that the Celestials, these programmers of the multiverse, were incapable of it.
After a moment of thought, Tony infused Bumblebee with a massive amount of the Singular God's power. In an instant, Bumblebee's spark went from faint to hotter than the sun, with a terrifying life force now flowing through it endlessly.
"Bumblebee, find a way to control the Faerie Force. It belongs to you," Tony said.
Bumblebee's chassis, which had been dismantled and shattered, remained motionless. Tony's words were transmitted through the spark into what little remained of Bumblebee's consciousness.
"Accept this power, control this power, and you will become... a god!"
Tony shattered the frenzied Faerie Force attacking him, but the energy he unleashed was immediately devoured by it, which then launched an even more frantic assault on him.
The breach that Tony had sealed now opened. His figure vanished from the spot, leaving this world through the opening.
"The Fifth Host has already sensed it. They'll come to seal this place again."
With a deadpan expression, Tony slapped a hand over the breach. Imitating the Celestials' system, he crudely patched it up before turning to leave.
...
The deadly dance between Bumblebee and the Faerie Force would continue for a long time. After tearing open the seal and confirming Bumblebee's condition, Tony had immediately returned.
Not long after Tony left, the Fifth Host arrived at high speed.
The Celestials' Fifth Host had sensed the disturbance in the seal and arrived in a furious rage, roaring incessantly.
"Who did this!"
"Damn it, who found such a hidden dimension!"
"We can't let the Faerie Force escape! This thing poses a massive threat to the multiverse!"
"We absolutely cannot give the Faerie Force a chance to grow. For every bit it grows, we will destroy a bit of it to curb its growth rate."
It wasn't that the Fifth Host didn't want to completely destroy the Faerie Force, but that was clearly unrealistic... As one of the Three Great Powers of the Multiverse, the Faerie Force could be suppressed by attacks and sealed away, but it could not be obliterated.
At least, the Celestials couldn't do it.
The faint rift that had appeared on the seal made the mighty Fifth Host's hearts pound with terror.
They had the urge to kill the intruder.
Back then, their Fifth Host had lost countless Celestials just to seal this damn thing.
"We reinforce the seal. Ignore everything else," a Celestial suddenly spoke. "Those are the orders from above."
"What about that guy inside..."
"Shut up and execute the order."
The Celestials fell silent. Powerful energy surged forth and, under the guidance of their leader, swiftly converged to fill the breach.
The frenzied Faerie Force greedily lunged at the breach, ferociously gulping down the Celestial energy. Not only that, but the Faerie Force also viciously slammed against the breach, trying to squeeze out while devouring the energy.
The Celestials roared in anger, blasting the Faerie Force to stop the greedy creature from charging the breach, all while being forced to increase their energy output.
This extremely high-tier energy was precisely the kind of food the Faerie Force loved.
With dark expressions and foul moods, the Celestials poured out their energy to mend the seal, forced to endure the Faerie Force brazenly devouring their power.
Fortunately, their output was greater than the loss, and the seal was eventually closed.
The Celestials stared at the sealed world for a long time before vanishing one by one, filled with frustration and rage.
They also wanted to settle the score with the intruder, but the Top Ten Celestials had issued an order forbidding them from interfering. The Fifth Host could only leave, filled with resentment.
