Chapter 812

Chapter 796: I Am God!

By Great Demon Spirit

Never before had anyone wielded the powers of the White and Black Lanterns simultaneously.

Never.

This time, Tony's main body and his clone were each wielding an extreme power. This intense conflict would have driven anyone else to madness.

Generally, even the most exceptional Lantern using two different ordinary lantern rings at the same time would face their willpower being torn apart, leading to a severe decline in their combat power.

What Tony now faced were the two most extreme powers: Death and Life. They were also the two superpowers at opposite ends of the Emotional Spectrum.

The intertwining of life and death is the eternal, unchanging theme of the Multiverse. At this moment, in Tony's perception, it had become unprecedentedly intense.

The entire Multiverse unfolded before Tony's eyes.

"So this is the concept of infinity..."

Tony sat quietly, calmly observing the vast Multiverse. Under his gaze, countless universes were born and destroyed every second, and trillions of life forms transitioned back and forth between states of death and survival.

This state was somewhat similar to when he ascended to become a Singular God, yet it was also different.

His perspective was largely the same, but his understanding had changed dramatically.

Some things can only be understood by rolling up your sleeves and truly taking part. That's how Tony felt right now; he was using the limits of his singular entity to align with the framework of infinity.

Massive aggregates of information began to run rampant, following Tony's trail and surging violently to pour into his body.

The fierce clash between Death and Life raged on, with Tony's godhead as the battlefield. Black and white light surged back and forth in a fierce battle.

Tony's godhead, which had been excessively eroded by darkness, was now forced to face the assault of its nemesis, the white light. This tug-of-war made his already fragile godhead seem even more precarious.

The seething Emotional Spectrum churned wildly.

Tony silently watched the scene before him.

"So this is the power of a Level Eight being... truly astonishing."

After a while, Tony sighed with emotion.

Despite his formidable past achievements of taking down numerous gods through various means, a closer look revealed that he had almost always relied on external forces to repel his opponents. Tony's own power was still far from sufficient.

If he had tried to face the likes of Trigon and Death with his own brute force, he would have been blasted to smithereens long ago. Even as a Singular God, he would have perished completely.

It wasn't until today, using the black and white mediums to personally come into contact with two ultimate, infinite powers, that he truly understood the insignificance of a single-universe being.

A single entity, no matter how powerful, was ultimately just that—a single entity. Compared to a multiversal being, an infinite concept, it was utterly insignificant.

This wasn't just a disparity in combat power, but a difference in the very essence of life. Killing a single entity was far too simple, but killing a multiversal being, which was theoretically limitless, was exceedingly difficult.

You can easily kill one, but how can you kill an infinite number?

If infinity could be wiped out, how could it be worthy of being called the concept of infinity?

From multiple aspects, such as their level of life and combat power, a multiversal being was practically immortal in the face of a single entity, unless destroyed in a head-on clash with another enemy who was also multiversal.

A god like Death held a revered position in the Multiverse. She was omnipresent, controlling the life and death of trillions of beings, yet she was just an ordinary multiversal being. There were far, far too many stronger than her.

But Death simply existed there, so lofty, so unattainable.

And now, Tony was using two mediums to peer into the Multiverse from completely opposite perspectives.

His field of vision grew wider and wider, even extending beyond the positive side of the Multiverse, passing through an invisible barrier to expand his view into its mysterious dark counterpart.

Darkness, cruelty, profundity, despair, chilling cold...

The Dark Multiverse, perennially concealed by the Multiverse, was revealed to Tony in all its bloody reality for the first time.

The interior of the entire Omni-Sphere World was laid bare before him.

Likewise, suspicious gazes probed from unknown regions, searching for the intruder's trail, but they seemed to find nothing, blocked by the Emotional Spectrum.

"I am the Singular God, by nature the one and only within the Multiverse."

In this world without a concept of time, Tony didn't know how long he remained silent. Finally, he stood up.

His two selves had quietly merged into one at some point. Although his fractured godhead was still riddled with rifts, it was being violently forced back together under the effects of Death's revival and Life's rebirth.

These two ultimate multiversal powers had already revealed far too many secrets to Tony.

"The limit of a single entity should have always been the most ridiculous of boundaries."

With the two pieces of his godhead merged and whole once more, a faint smile appeared on Tony's face.

His body would sometimes exude a heart-palpitating darkness, and at other times, it would switch to a warm and comforting light.

At this moment, the method to surpass the limits of a single entity had been comprehended by Tony. He, the singularity within the Multiverse, should have, in fact, always been a multiverse within the singularity.

The concept of infinity is the superposition of countless single entities, and the insignificant single entity is the starting point of the infinite Multiverse. Tony, a Singular God who had already surpassed the limits of life within the multiverse, had long been situated at the boundary between the singular and the multiversal.

All that was missing was a catalyst.

Suddenly, the entire Multiverse trembled. A powerful will of a True God began to spread from the Prime Universe, madly sweeping across the countless surrounding universes and expanding rapidly. Even the endless Blood Realm couldn't hinder this will in the slightest.

Empowered by Death and Life, guided by revival and rebirth, Tony, this unique existence in all the worlds, officially stepped toward that transcendent, conceptual level.

The tremors grew stronger, and the clash between black and white became more brutal. In this empty and silent world, Tony slowly opened his arms, brazenly embracing everything.

This increasingly astonishing tremor shook the entire Multiverse, startling countless slumbering gods. They felt, with horror, the aura of a being whose presence was rising dramatically.

That was... the aura of a New God!

"It's him again?!"

"How long has it been... This is just outrageous!!!"

"Is he on steroids?! He's not letting anyone else live!!!"

"I've been grinding away in the Multiverse for who knows how many epochs to gain the power I have today, but for a New God, how is it as simple as drinking water..."

"It's over. In the future, I won't even be qualified to drink water!"

"I suddenly have a bold idea. Why don't we take this opportunity to..."

"Pah!"

...

Just as the shadow of the Blackest Night enveloped countless universes, as countless lives struggled bitterly against the unkillable army of Black Lanterns.

Tony had begun his transformation, taking that crucial step, and had advanced greatly toward the empyrean heights of a True God.

"From this day forward, I am God!"

Tony's voice echoed throughout the infinite worlds.
