Chapter 711: The Birth of the New White Phoenix
2022-10-19 Author: Great Demon Spirit
The consciousness of the Dark Phoenix was erased by Tony, leaving behind only a large mass of Phoenix Force.
Tony examined the Phoenix Force that had been extracted from Jean's body, then looked at the Phoenix Egg he had tightly clutched in his other hand the entire time.
The two Phoenix Fragments exerted a tremendous pull on each other, attempting to merge into one.
Looking across the vast Multiverse, countless Phoenix Fragments floated, waiting for a lucky individual to find and merge with them.
Tony estimated that if Jean could merge these two fragments, her power would reach at least the peak of Level Seven, making her a powerful individual no weaker than the Red Lantern Hulk, and perhaps even stronger in some aspects.
This was because the Phoenix Force's abilities were too comprehensive; it could even distort reality and rewrite rules. At the very least, the Red Lantern Hulk couldn't achieve that with just his fists and Rage.
"Not bad. In the future, I'll find ways to collect more Phoenix Fragments and complete the Phoenix Force as much as possible."
Tony's lips curled into a smile, his mood excellent.
"It worked?"
Jean blinked her eyes open, dazed, her body covered in wounds, feeling weak.
"From now on, you are free, Jean. Not only that, but you will gain true power that you can control, rather than being manipulated by the Dark Phoenix as before."
Tony looked at the Phoenix Fragment in his hand, thought for a moment, and then put it back into Jean's body.
They were in space; if the Phoenix Force remaining in Jean's body was depleted, she would be close to death.
It was better to put the fragment back sooner rather than later.
The luminous mass, which had been ravaged by Tony, returned to Jean's body. There were no explosive energy waves; everything appeared calm.
Jean silently felt the sudden emptiness in her spiritual world, momentarily lost and bewildered.
She had been tormented by the Dark Phoenix for decades, experiencing nightmares every day, and in recent years, the Dark Phoenix's attacks on her had escalated.
Many times, Jean felt like she couldn't go on.
"You won, Jean. From now on, you are free. There won't be another brutal entity constantly trying to destroy your soul," Tony said, patting Jean's shoulder with a smile.
With the Dark Phoenix eliminated, Jean would officially embark on the right path, a path truly belonging to an Omega-Level Mutant.
To be able to engage in a psychic confrontation with the Dark Phoenix, who wielded the Phoenix Force, with a mortal's willpower, and to have fought for so many years, Jean's willpower and perseverance fully qualified her to receive the Phoenix Force.
The next second, the two had appeared on Cybertron. Jean, having regained control of the Phoenix Force, met with the group of people who had gathered around her, concerned, amidst her dazed confusion.
"Jean! You're okay! That's great!"
Cyclops was overjoyed, his eyes moist, his lips trembling.
"Jean! You really are okay, that's wonderful!"
Wolverine was incredibly excited, pulling Jean into his embrace and hugging her tightly.
Cyclops' eyelids twitched wildly, and his face instantly darkened. He had never seen such a shameless person, and at the same time, he felt an urge to blast Wolverine with his maximum-power energy ray.
He'd blast that bastard who coveted his girlfriend right through!
Anyway, that scoundrel couldn't die...
Cyclops, filled with complex thoughts, stared at Wolverine, itching to act.
Logan's beast-like intuition sensed something. He abruptly turned his head, his beast-like eyes fixated on Cyclops, invisible sparks flying between them.
"Tony, where's the Dark Phoenix?" Professor X asked, hurrying over in his wheelchair.
"Dead."
Professor X fell silent for a moment, ultimately saying nothing.
The birth of the Dark Phoenix was inextricably linked to him. For many years, he had tried to make the Dark Phoenix and Jean acknowledge each other and eventually merge back into a single entity, but he had always failed.
Now, he no longer had to worry about losing control; the Dark Phoenix was gone, leaving not even a trace.
"Once Jean adapts to this state, I will give her the Phoenix Egg after a while, allowing her to become a true Phoenix Daughter. She is worthy of becoming the Phoenix's Avatar."
Tony said.
Professor X looked at Jean, who was surrounded by many people, at the girl he had raised as a daughter since childhood, and smiled silently.
A few days later.
Jean finally gained the ability to freely control the Phoenix Force within her and had adapted to being free from the Dark Phoenix's constraints. Tony called her over directly and placed the Phoenix Egg in her hand.
"The Phoenix Force is a powerful energy born from the combination of life force and emotional power, renowned throughout the Multiverse. I don't need to elaborate on its wonders; you've dealt with the Phoenix Force since childhood, so you understand it better than I do."
Tony pointed at the luminous mass he had placed in Jean's hand. "You are currently the most suitable Phoenix Host. This belongs to you."
Jean looked at the luminous mass in her hand and whispered, "This... this is too precious."
"Precious? No, this thing isn't as important as you imagine. Who knows how many Phoenix Fragments are scattered throughout the entire Multiverse, and who knows how many people have become Hosts to these fragments. If one truly dedicates themselves to collecting them, they will always find some."
"The important thing is that it rightfully belongs to you. No one understands the Phoenix Force better than you. The Dark Phoenix will forever be history; the White Phoenix, symbolizing hope and the future, is about to spread its wings and soar."
Tony said with a smile.
Jean nodded silently, took a deep breath, and completely released the craving emanating from within her, no longer suppressing it. The luminous mass in her palm eagerly surged into Jean's body, merging with the fragment already inside her.
A fiery, golden-yellow Phoenix suddenly appeared behind Jean. The sudden surge of power made it impossible for her to precisely control the Phoenix Force for a moment.
It was an incredibly beautiful creature, composed entirely of energy flames, exuding a noble and sacred aura, devoid of the cruelty and icy sensation of the Dark Phoenix.
A new Phoenix was being born, like a rising sun, illuminating the starry sky, its future influence destined to radiate throughout the entire Multiverse!
As the large doors closed, Tony stood with his hands in his pockets, his expression relaxed, Wanda by his side.
"Is the Chaos Magic rioting again?" Tony asked, without turning his head, his voice filled with concern.
Wanda lowered her head, her expression downcast, and softly hummed in affirmation.
A warm hand caressed her cheek, gently lifting it. Tony's tender gaze fell upon her face, his warm eyes watching her. "Don't worry, with me here, there won't be any problems."
"I can still control it now, but if another few or ten years pass, I worry that I too will become a completely different person, just like Jean not long ago," Wanda said, her voice filled with worry.
"No, you won't. I'll stay by your side. Anyone who poses a threat to you, I will find them one by one and deal with them all... even if they are a Chaos Ancient God!"
Tony's voice carried a heartwarming power that slightly lifted Wanda's spirits.
While comforting Wanda, Tony looked up at the fiery red sunset.
"Elder God Chthon..."
