Chapter 705: The Eternal Sisters

The God Quarry is a desolate zone, a cosmic graveyard.
It is deserted year-round, lonely and deathly silent, yet it is filled with vast amounts of violent energy, and the types of energy are incredibly diverse, enough to obliterate any Life Form that ventures here.
Furthermore, the God Quarry is inherently secretive, thus very few people know about it, and those who do know have absolutely no interest in it.
But on this day, two uninvited guests intruded.
An enormous brilliance illuminated the place; countless violent energy fields were forcibly shattered by The Outsiders with crude methods, and two individuals descended, stepping upon chaotic Space-time, like supreme Deities.
“The God Quarry, a graveyard for a group of Main Universe Deities.” Tony embraced Wanda, observing the surrounding environment.
Raging energy fields violently crashed towards them, but before they could even get close, they were shattered by the Power surging from Tony.
The ferocity of this God Quarry was simply child's play compared to the Blood Realm.
The residual Divine Power of those deceased Deities had, over long ages, formed the countless energy forces present now; different energy systems clashing with each other, shaping this place into a perilous The Last Stand.
But in Tony's eyes, it was merely a joke.
Moreover, most of the so-called Deities buried here were Demigods, who, after dying one by one over the past ten billion years, were cast into this place.
“Is there a Phoenix Egg here?” Wanda asked curiously, looking around.
“Not here, but there are clues to the Phoenix Egg.”
Tony said.
With a decisive stomp of his foot, even more astonishing Energy Waves surged continuously from Tony's body, like a fierce tiger unleashed into a flock of sheep, sweeping away all the agitated energies with overwhelming force.
The God Quarry welcomed an unprecedented calm, with only numerous scattered energy remnants drifting aimlessly, unable to pose any threat.
“How long will the three of you continue to disguise yourselves?!” Tony scoffed coldly, looking indifferently into the depths of the Darkness.
Three Auras stirred for an instant; as if reaching a consensus, they slowly shed their disguises and emerged from the Darkness.
Three women, their entire bodies shrouded in wide black robes, walked out slowly. They had hidden themselves very, very deeply, fearing being detected by Tony, The Outsider, only daring to watch Tony with greedy gazes from the shadows.
These were three incredibly ancient women, whose faces, under their hoods, were covered in wrinkles, and whose dark eyes revealed a profound decay.
Their movements were extremely slow, making one fear they might collapse at any moment.
Wanda watched the three old women, her brows subtly furrowing. Chaos Power rapidly gathered, ready to unleash powerful destruction magic at any moment. Whether it was an illusion or not, these three individuals gave her a repulsive feeling…
One Witch spoke in a hoarse, unsettling voice, saying, “Heheheh, great New God, the first Singular God in the history of the Multiverse, to actually visit our remote little place, please permit us three old Witches to offer you our most profound reverence…”
“Denied!”
Tony bared his grim teeth: “I do not accept your bullshit reverence.”
The three Witches froze instantly, their faces simultaneously showing momentary confusion and bewilderment. The Eternal Sisters had lived for so many years, secretly ensnaring and killing countless Deities, but this was the first time they had encountered someone like Tony.
The Eternal Sisters was the title of these three Witches. Of course, it had no relation to Eternity, one of the Five Great Creator Gods; the three of them were merely backstabbing rats and couldn't even compare to Eternity.
The three Witches loved to target Demigods and Level Seven Gods who were already close to Death for various reasons. Working together, they would secretly lie in wait near their targets, then launch a sudden attack, entangling the Deity's Divine Power, completely killing the Deity, and absorbing their Divine Power.
To put it plainly, these three individuals were rats lurking in the shadows, feeding on Divine Power. Over the years, countless Deities from various civilizations and races had been secretly eliminated by the three Witches, their Divine Power and Souls becoming the trio's sustenance.
The leading Witch was stunned for a moment, exchanged glances with the other two Witches, and gave two dry laughs, saying, “The New God must be joking… Is there some misunderstanding between us?”
“No misunderstanding, I just don't like the looks of you three. Don't mind it.” Tony was calm.
Wanda burst out laughing.
The three Witches' faces turned as black as the bottom of a pot.
“May I ask why the New God has graced our humble, remote abode, and what Divine Edict you wish to convey? We three sisters are more than willing to serve the New God.” The Witch said.
Tony casually swept his gaze across the God Quarry, taking in the densely packed sculptures. Each sculpted figure had been, at the very least, a Demigod in life, ambushed and killed by the three Witches, eventually transforming into these sculptures here, to remain eternally silent.
“I want to know the whereabouts of the Phoenix Egg.” Tony stated straightforwardly.
The three Witches fell silent for a moment, then began casting spells. Unidentifiable magic gathered into a ball, seemingly prophesying something.
“The prophecy states that a fiery Power is being nurtured and is about to hatch. Galactus's Herald is nurturing the Phoenix. The Phoenix Egg is in the hands of the Tyrant. If you wish to acquire the Phoenix Egg, you must first find the Tyrant,” one Witch whispered, a flash of greed quickly disappearing from her eyes.
“Where is the Tyrant then?” Tony asked.
The three Witches exchanged glances and respectfully said, “We do not know. He is a Level Seven Powerhouse and can already shield himself from our prophecy power.”
Even if the Tyrant was merely at the bottom of Level Seven, that was still a power beyond the limits of Mortals, so the three Witches' excuse seemed reasonable.
But Tony knew this was nonsense.
The Combat Power of these three Witches when working together definitely reached the Level Seven tier, and they were also Witches most skilled in various Sorcery; finding the whereabouts of the Tyrant should be incredibly easy for them.
These three Witches were masters of subtle growth, silently ambushing and killing countless Demigods and Beings of higher levels, living in obscurity for years in the God Quarry at the edge of the Main Universe, little known to others.
Yet these three old women were extremely terrifying individuals. In the original work, the three of them instantly subdued Thane, who was protected by Death, and even extracted the Phoenix Egg from Thane's body.
At that time, Thane could effortlessly defeat anyone who dared challenge him, wielding the Phoenix Force to destroy countless Galaxies. He later even caused Death to abandon Thanos and deign to favor him. Yet, even such a powerful Thane instantly knelt before the three Witches; his Phoenix Force was even snatched away.
Seeing these three women act so deferentially, it would be easy to be deceived.
“From now on, the God Quarry will be closed. I will completely destroy this place, and all the sculptures will go where they belong.”
Tony said expressionlessly.
“What?!” The three Witches' faces drastically changed, the wrinkles on their faces twitching wildly.
