Chapter 686

**Chapter 670: Hideous**

Darkseid left, holding a Mother Box.

Before leaving, he suddenly stopped and asked, "What did you say to Steppenwolf?"

Tony's heart skipped a beat, but he calmly said, "You'll have to ask Steppenwolf. Whatever he says goes. Your relationship is far closer than ours."

Darkseid kicked away the Doomsday King Kong, which clung to him like a stubborn plaster. He watched Tony for a moment, then nodded, though it was unclear if he believed him or truly understood.

He turned and left, quickly disappearing into the Blood Realm.

Remaining any longer would be meaningless.

Tony held three separated Mother Boxes in his hand, watching Darkseid's retreating figure, and fell silent for a moment.

Honestly, the dispute between him and Darkseid all started when Tony treated Apokolips as a garbage dump. Of course, Darkseid wasn't acting with good intentions when he threw the Mother Boxes into the Main Universe; it was for a more distant future plan, as the Main Universe is the core of the Multiverse and holds immense value.

"It's still a matter of strength. If I had equal strength to him..."

Tony shook his head.

He needed time, but Darkseid didn't. This outcome was the best possible result.

Giving back one Mother Box was inconsequential. As for the technology... Heh heh, the Kryptonian Pantheon had been completely wiped out by Tony. Even if Darkseid turned the heavens upside down, he wouldn't be able to find another Krypton Chief God.

"Roar!"

The Doomsday King Kong gasped roughly, roaring at Tony. Terrifying sound waves unleashed their power, making Tony's collar rustle.

"Shut up," Tony said.

The Doomsday King Kong still wanted to roar, even itching to raise its fists, but Tony's gaze instantly quelled all its thoughts and impulses with power from the source of life.

The Doomsday King Kong felt the changes within itself, extremely uncomfortable, and furiously swung its fists.

Its head, frenziedly covered in layers of steel, and its eyes, deeply set behind a skull resembling a steel battle helmet, were filled with unwilling emotions.

Tony snorted coldly, "I created you, gave you the ability to think and the potential to grow. In return, you will serve me, or I will melt you down and destroy you."

The Doomsday King Kong let out a roar, suppressing the instinctive restlessness and desire for slaughter in its heart, itching to act where it stood.

"A difficult creature to control..."

Tony looked at the King Kong, which exuded an aura of destruction, his brows furrowing slightly before relaxing.

He was mentally prepared for this situation; one only needed to look at Ancient Doomsday to know what kind of monster it was. As a simulated product, it was already remarkable that the Doomsday King Kong could be restricted by Tony.

Regardless, the Doomsday King Kong had become a card in Tony's hand, and one that couldn't be easily played.

No one knew what astonishing changes this thing would undergo if it underwent evolution to Level Eight. Even if Tony was confident in himself, confidence was absolutely not a reason for foolishly taking risks. Intentionally putting oneself in a dangerous and unprofitable situation because of confidence was an incredibly stupid move.

That wasn't confidence, it was foolishness...

Tony looked into the distance. The entire Blood Realm's energy was slowly converging on Tony's location. Generally, the higher dimension energy throughout the Blood Realm would be evenly distributed.

It was time to return. After so long, he should go back to the Main Universe. Although a Divine Power Avatar Donny had always been stationed there, no different from his main body, some things were best personally arranged by Tony.

"Come back with me. You were only recently born; there's too much you need to learn."

Tony said to the violently gasping Doomsday King Kong, "I will teach you things you could never learn otherwise, but the condition is that you are not allowed to act without my command, or I will make you pay a heavy price."

The Doomsday King Kong stared intently at Tony, its bloodshot eyes still revealing a craving for slaughter and a thirst for blood.

Tony met his icy gaze.

After a long while, the Doomsday King Kong suddenly showed a chilling "smile." It bared its mouth, revealing sharp teeth, looking extremely ferocious.

"That smile is hideous. Don't learn from Darkseid; that guy isn't a good person," Tony said dismissively.

...

Main Universe, Earth.

On the peak of Mount Everest, a group of superheroes finally found the Red Lantern Hulk sitting there.

Hulk gave them a cold glance, then continued to look up at the sky.

"Hey, big guy, do you know me? I'm Tony Stark, I..."

"I know you, Stark. I'm very familiar with you." Hulk looked at him indifferently. "In my universe, you were an unforgivable scumbag and bastard. You played a huge part in my later tragic fate."

"Oh?" Tony froze, his nerves tense, and asked as if nothing was wrong, "Excuse my presumption, but what happened to the 'me' in that universe?"

"I tore him in half," Hulk said with a savage grin.

Tony was speechless.

Superman said sternly, "Hulk, whatever grievances you have with 'us' from that universe, I hope you don't bring those matters here."

Hulk snorted coldly, his legs crossed as he sat in the snowdrift.

"We want to know your purpose. For example, why haven't you left yet? What's your relationship with Tony?" Tony asked.

Red Lantern Hulk said coldly, "I'm waiting for the Herald of Galactus. If they dare to come, I'll kill them. If they don't come, I'll wait here for Tony's orders."

"That Tony guy really is... Sometimes I really don't understand what he's thinking," Tony muttered.

Clark and the others continued to ask questions, but Red Lantern Hulk closed his mouth, steadily staring at the group with an icy gaze.

The superheroes were helpless and could only choose to leave, monitoring him using relatively reasonable methods like satellites.

None of them were confident they could defeat the Red Lantern Hulk, that monster.

Red Lantern Hulk continued to stay on Earth, observing the grand scenery of the snow-capped mountains. He really liked this environment of howling wind and snow.

His red fingers rubbed his Power Ring, which glowed red, beating in sync with his heart.

"Banner... are you Banner?"

Red She-Hulk Betty climbed up the snowy mountain, looking at the familiar face with excitement.

"Banner? A familiar name. That fragile guy was eaten by me long ago." Red Lantern Hulk pointed to his own head. "His spirit and soul have become a part of me. There is only Hulk, no Banner, so go back."

Betty stared at him stiffly. After a long time, her eyes filled with disappointment, and she mocked herself, "That's right, Banner should have died long ago. I just came to see him one last time..."

Betty left dejectedly.

Red Lantern Hulk watched her retreating figure, his expression unchanged, yet a trace of remembrance in the depths of his eyes could never be erased.

Banner truly no longer existed, but Hulk still held fragmented memories—images of him interacting with Betty as Hulk in the Nirvana universe.

It was all in the past, and now it held no meaning.
