Chapter 664

Chapter 649: Speed Force Transformer

Just as the Kryptonian Pantheon was attacked and fell by the New Gods on the edge of the Multiverse, and the Four Great Main Gods were undergoing Tony's cruel vivisection.

A new superhero appeared in Central City on Earth.

Many citizens had been saved by this mysterious individual. Often, when they encountered a crisis, they would inexplicably pass out, and upon waking, everything would be settled, and the criminals subdued.

The name of this mysterious hero also quietly spread: "Smokescreen," a rather strange name.

The Rogues, who were always at odds with The Flash, also had to brace themselves to deal with this newcomer.

Bang!

Captain Boomerang, who had just escaped from Iron Heights Prison, slammed his fist onto the table, his face exceedingly grim. "I went to rob the bank today and was ambushed by that mysterious guy again."

"Process?" In the scorching summer, Captain Cold still wore a thick leather coat, with goggles on his face. He was covered in a thick layer of frost, as if he had just returned from climbing a snowy mountain.

The other members wiped the sweat from their foreheads and couldn't help but lean closer to Captain Cold.

Captain Boomerang angrily said, "I'm angry precisely because I don't know how it happened! Have you ever seen someone suddenly pass out halfway through robbing a bank? This isn't the first or second time!"

Mirror Master said indifferently, "That guy dared to provoke us, so he should be prepared to die."

Captain Cold stroked his cold gun, his icy expression showing no change.

Everyone looked at him.

"What should we do, Scott? Give us an idea."

Captain Cold pondered for a moment, then stood up directly to pack his things, saying, "My idea is to lay low for a while, or spend a few months in prison."

"What?!"

"That's too humiliating!"

"Are we Rogues going to be humiliated?!"

The other members' eyes widened as they cried out in disbelief.

They couldn't believe such words came from Captain Cold Scott, a criminal genius whose willpower was as hard as steel.

"You care about pride, I care about my life. The reason we've been able to fight The Flash until now is because he never kills; he just catches us again and again and throws us into prison… But with this newcomer, who can guarantee he won't kill?"

He paused, then Captain Cold said coldly, "I need to observe for a while, at least to determine this new hero's personality before making a decision. Acting rashly without enough intelligence is the stupidest and easiest way to get killed. You can stay if you want; you'll make good cannon fodder for my intelligence gathering."

The other Rogues fell silent, exchanged glances, and tacitly began packing their things, stuffing large amounts of jewelry and valuables into their bags, hoisting them onto their backs, and leaving.

In terms of brains, Captain Cold Scott was stronger than all of them. Although they were all unruly, they weren't fools, and each held high regard for Captain Cold's judgment.

"If I find your judgment is wrong, I'll let you experience the power of my Heat Gun."

Heat Wave slung his Heat Gun, capable of spewing high-temperature flames, over his shoulder. In his other hand, he carried a backpack filled with valuables, threatening with a fierce expression.

Captain Cold was expressionless: "I'll help you collect your corpse."

Heat Wave snorted coldly, cursing under his breath as he was the first to walk out of the abandoned factory.

Heat Wave and Captain Cold had always been at odds, with arguments and disagreements daily occurrences. However, the Rogues' greatest strength was their unity; no matter how much they squabbled internally, they would always unite closely whenever someone came to attack them.

This was inseparable from Captain Cold's leadership and the strict Rogues' Code he established.

The Rogues' Code stipulated: The primary goal of the Rogues is to acquire profit through criminal means. The secondary goal is to teach The Flash a lesson. Killing is forbidden unless absolutely necessary, no involvement with drugs, no harming women or children, and no internal fighting.

Those who violated the Rogues' Code would personally be taught a lesson by Captain Cold—frozen into a block of ice for three days and three nights.

Heat Wave swaggered out of the factory, looked around warily, then took a deep breath.

"Guys, whose sports car is that?" Heat Wave pointed to the white sports car.

The other members were slightly startled.

Captain Cold brazenly fired at the vehicle, a super-low-temperature cold ray blasting towards it. "Only a fool would drive such an ostentatious car to a secret meeting. Someone is targeting us."

The blue and white ray shot straight towards the car. At the same time, the Rogues skillfully found their respective hiding spots, took out their weapons, and vigilantly observed their surroundings.

Heat Wave excitedly roared, raising his Heat Gun and firing at the sports car as well.

In a flash, the car moved.

A grating metallic screech sounded. The sports car deftly rolled to the side, numerous metal parts deforming. Simultaneously, a thick metal arm formed, and a peculiar weapon aimed at the Rogues.

Too fast!

Captain Cold roared, "Get clear—"

Then, powerful unseen energy waves spread from the weapon, covering the Rogues over a wide area. Following this, even Captain Cold, with his most determined willpower, felt his head spin, and his heart filled with dread.

"Damn Captain Boomerang..." Heat Wave cursed his teammate who had inadvertently gotten him into trouble, then flopped to the ground, unconscious.

The entire Rogues were wiped out.

The Transformer finished transforming and stepped forward, each step leaving a deep pit in the ground. He carefully scanned the area, confirmed that these guys were all unconscious, and then let out a whistle.

"Ha, this Vortex Ray is truly a good thing."

Smokescreen gleefully put away his weapon, carefully securing it to his arm and locking it in place with a few parts, only then feeling relieved.

As a glorious Autobot and also a candidate member of Cybertron's elite guard on Earth, Smokescreen was doing some extra work in his own way.

No one asked him to do it; Smokescreen wanted to do it himself—don't misunderstand, he never thought about becoming a superhero.

Smokescreen subconsciously touched the device hanging at his waist, then smiled and dialed a signal.

Soon, a yellow electric arc flashed, and The Flash arrived, looking in surprise at the unconscious Rogues strewn across the ground. These guys were once notorious criminals in Central City, though not the most heinous, which was why The Flash had thrown them into prison several times.

"Oh, sir... thank you for your help." The Flash greeted him.

Smokescreen's eyes darted around, and he said with a smile, "It's nothing, it's what I should do."

Subconsciously, his hand reached for his waist. In that instant, the device had absorbed a bit of Speed Force from The Flash.

The Phase Shifter, the latest creation from the Grand Forgemaster Sai Tianjiao of Cybertron, was a device for capturing and collecting Speed Force, created by combining technology from Reverse Flash.

In terms of performance, it was even stronger than Reverse Flash's technology.
